The 2024 edition of the Tire Technology Expo and Conference – billed as the most eagerly awaited event of the year for the tyre manufacturing industry – will take place in Hannover, Germany, in March (19-21).
With a programme that includes an exhibition, conference and short courses, this event will bring together more than 180 speakers from top companies and institutions, the world’s premier technology showcase of material and equipment from 240 specialist suppliers, as well as courses given by renowned universities and institutions.
GS1 in Europe will be represented, with Henk-Jan Timmerman and Diana de Bernardy (GS1 France) as guest speakers. They will deliver a presentation on interoperability for lifecycle management and maintenance through GS1 standards.
GS1 in Europe will explain how our standards can be linked to the tire industry, in particular how the digital product passport can be deployed throughout the life cycle of a tire. GS1 identifiers, RFID technology and serialisation are other tools that help improve the circularity of the tire industry in Europe.
