In 2017 we sent our first survey to collect data about our 49 MOs, a big picture about GS1 in Europe. Since that date we have been gathering information such as the total number of member companies in the MOs, the number of member companies per sector and business type, the number of employees, the financial strength, the average membership fee, the financial contribution of value-added services in the MO, etc.
This yearly work allows us to collect data that guarantees, year after year, continuous monitoring and update of some main indicators defining GS1 in Europe MOs’ environment, priorities, strategies, strengths, challenges, etc.
The GS1 in Europe Insight survey results are fully compliant with the competition law risk assessment, all the average data presented in the report is older than one year, and the data provided by the 49 MOs is confidential.
